We have set up a community garden at the Grand Isle Community Center that is used for growing vegetables. Now we are planning to plant a fruit orchard. A date for this event will be announced in the coming weeks.

We have received a Keep Louisiana Beautiful Grant to plant Live Oaks this fall. We plan to plant over 150 Live Oaks to replace the tree canopy lost to Hurricane Ida. We will be picking a date in the coming weeks for this event.
