Restore Grand Isle has partnered with the Louisiana Iris Conservation Initiative (LICI) and the Nature Conservancy to plant Louisiana Irises in the Lafitte Woods Preserve on Grand Isle. This project is still on-going and has been an enormous success.

Restore Grand Isle partnered with Friends of Jefferson the Beautiful to plant 27 5-year-old live oaks at the Grand Isle Community Center.

This spring we purchased and distributed 40 live oaks that have been planted across the island.

We have set up a community garden at the Grand Isle Community Center. We are always planting new fruit and vegetables and encourage the community to stop by and collect some to enjoy with family and friends.
